CLUB DIRECTORSHANNON
WILLIAMS
I have a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology Degree through the University of Texas at Arlington. While working in the medical field I found myself to be repeatedly working in broken systems and had no power to do anything about it. I got my real estate license 10 years ago and went on to get my broker’s license 6 years ago. Real estate helped me realize I have a knack for improving broken systems. I am a forever student, so I love learning about anything and everything. I ask a lot of questions and my science brain helps me recognize patterns and enjoy troubleshooting problems.
My daughter wanted to start playing volleyball over 4 years ago, so I entered the volleyball world and realized how much the volleyball industry is broken. As a parent, I’ve experienced the frustration of the same kinds of things playing out season after season. Coach Jenna and I sat in the stands together watching the potential of a great season never being realized over and over. So, we decided to do something about it. While I may not be able to change everything, my goal is to create a much more enjoyable experience for the girls and parents and support Coach Jenna in every way to have the most successful season possible.
I have a soft spot for kids. Through the years, I’ve chaperoned my kids’ field trips, helped with class parties, and sponsored junior high and high school bands and cheerleading. I’ve been the president of the high school volleyball booster club and continue to work the mentorship program at the high school. Creating a positive environment for the girls to grow and reach their potential is important to me. I will know every player’s name and will be their biggest cheerleader. My experience in business will help create a smoother, more enjoyable process for parents, especially because I know what it’s like to be a parent in this sport. I’m very proactive, so I address things before they get out of hand. We are all navigating this together, so I welcome parent and player feedback throughout the season.

HEAD COACHJENNA
STRICKLEY
Volleyball has been a part of my life as a player and coach for 26 years. I am certified in sports performance and nutrition, strength and conditioning and CAP III through USAV. I have been a head coach over 3 school programs and have coached in club programs across the country at various levels and ages. I have built successful high school programs from the ground up. I have led teams to victory in state championships and have also had disappointing seasons that tested our ability to stay resilient. What I have experienced throughout my career as a coach has shaped my view on mental toughness and teaching the championship mindset. Mistakes are inevitable but how we react to them and how quickly we recover is what builds true resilience and character.
My training combines game-speed drills, film review, individual player feedback and mindset coaching—because the best athletes aren’t just strong; they’re smart and prepared.
I am passionate about coaching the whole athlete, not just the stats, but the leadership, confidence and work ethic that fuels long term success. On my court true leadership is service, I model the behavior I expect from my team and every athlete has a voice that matters. My goal is always to provide a safe environment where I can share my life long love for this sport with the next generation of future leaders.
